MSW Newsletter - Stories of Interest 6/4/12

Seems like interesting things don't take a break even though it'd be a well deserved break. Fortunately in Mike Salvi's World we try to make your life a little simpler and consolidate them into one post. See? I care. Also decided to add a new feature, the "Pic of the Day," enjoy.

A clear majority of Americans now want to see marijuana legalized. Fifty-six percent believe it should be treated like alcohol or tobacco. Only thirty-six percent defend the status quo. What's more, the trend has been moving towards the pro-legalization position, and continues to do so.

 Little is known about what happened at past Bilderberg meetings, let alone this year’s conference near the nation’s capital in Chantilly, Virginia. Over the years, however, some journalists and rogue reporters have either infiltrated the event or learned from insiders about the goings-on of the elusive meeting of the minds. But are members of the exclusive group breaking US law while meeting off the record?

Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on the sidelines of a summit in Beijing next week as tensions rise over Tehran's nuclear drive, a Kremlin official said. "Meeting Ahmadinejad will let Putin personally feel the tension around the Iranian issue and how it is perceived in Tehran," Kremlin foreign policy aide Yury Ushakov told reporters last week.

Breathing; we do it every day. We don’t even need to think about it. But what if we actually did take the time to think about it? Not just regular breathing; the deep saturating breaths that make our skin tingle? What are some other reasons why we should practice deep breathing?
