Ep 49 - MSW Podcast ft Dustin Slaughter & Kenneth Lipp 7/8/13 at 10pm EST

Welcome to the Mike Salvi's World podcast! We broadcast live every Monday at 10pm EST from Laffcast Studios. Watch the video live below and chime in via USTREAM chat. Can't watch? No problem, listen live on Shoutcast (yes, there's an app for that, look it up and type "laffcast" in the search).

This week we're joined Dustin Slaughter and Kenneth Lipp from PhillyDeclaration.org. Dustin and Ken combined their efforts to start Philly Declaration, which was "born of necessity." While neither seem to take authority at face value, they're both "driven to know, and think you can handle, the truth."

Of all the work they've done over the past few years, their latest work on the Delaware Valley Intelligence Center (DVIC), could be categorized as possibly the most important issue in local activism.

Tune in on Monday at 10pm EST. We'll have the phone lines open during the entire show, 877-587-6833, so make sure you join us!
The Declaration is an alternative news source for Philadelphia. We seek to highlight city politics, art, culture and activism.
Why Philadelphia? Our reasons are myriad, but the fact that Philadelphia’s predominant publications are all essentially owned by the same corporate interest certainly has something to do with The Declaration’s existence.
We act  in accordance with the once-accepted maxim that news organizations have a responsibility  to participate in political debate, and to shape public policy while adhering to ethical guidelines stated in The Tao of Journalism: Transparency, Accountability and Openness.

We want to hear from you, so email your questionschime in via chat during the show, or call in! 877-587-6833
